First of all thx for the lovely upgrades.
I hope this won’t come across as a bad start of the new year
but I’m still unsure about poster #4.
I have another version of it & an AD too
Regretfully both are too small to contribute here (548*945 & 608*800)
Anyway… both the actors depicted & the taglines seems to differ from The Cocaine Fiends (1935)
The taglines are: “Strips the Soul Bare, INFLAMES THE Senses” & “NO CRIME TOO VICIOUS…NO MANHUNT MORE INTENSE…IN THE BATTLE AGAINST THE DEALERS OF DEATH!!”
This is one of the rare occations where IMDB sucks… & there’s virtually no clue at all on the net.
Initially I had the poster sorted as Cocaine – The Thrill That Kills (1940′s) & the AD Cocaine Flyers (1950′s). An extra clue on the AD sais: Albert Dezel Productions Inc. but that’s about it… & there’s not much about Albert Dezel as producer on IMDB.
Anyone having additional information about this will be greatly appreciated, because it’s been splitting my hairs for quite some time now.
Thanks Geeler I will certainly have my eye on this too.
Are the two black & white images the front and back of one handbill? I own the massive full color one sheet of dope with the image (willis kent production). I assume my poster dates to 1928. The colors are a saturated golden yellow and dark green. Anyone have info on this?
