I’ve moved the blog to a new server and testing it now.
The good news is that comment script seems to be working again. The bad news is that all old comments are probably gone.

Please report everything bad, weird, sad and unjust.

This little curiosity is right now on sale on Heritage, current bid – $1. They apparently have no clue what this poster is for so they’ve put it in the Adult section.

Anyways – this is the Turkish poster for Michael Mann’s ‘Manhunter’ – the first Hannibal Lecter movie. Cool, eh?

Something Weird

Hello there.
I’ve just made a small tribute to legendary exploitation director Herschell Gordon Lewis, known as the Godfather Of Gore. It basically just sums up on one page all his posters I have, some of them heavily retouched and ‘gruesomely stained in blood color’, some are to be doctored in nearest future.

upgrades

Hi.
I’ve just been informed by my hosting provider – they’re having some hardware upgrades now – should be finished by Sunday. This can cause some minor problems with site performance. So if you have any trouble browsing – just refresh once in a while. I too will take a short (but long-deserved) vacation and perhaps will get drunk.

And – by the way – if you are viewing my site via RSS and have problems with images not showing up, or other – pls let me know and comment here. Please specify the RSS reader.

I occasionally receive emails and comments like ‘Hello – I have some really cool posters and stills I’d like to share. Are you interested in posting those?’
Guys – are you serious?! Of course I am interested!!
So – if you have nice and clean flat poster/still scans or photos – PLEASE – send them to weirdposters.gmail.com and you will have my eternal gratitude!
Just posters and stills please. No DVD or VHS covers, no lobby cards. Large images only (at least 1000×1500 px).

Things I’m especially interested in: Nu Image, PM Entertainment, Full Moon, European versions of US horror and B-movie posters, South American and Asian genre films, Category III, gialli, Concorde, Action International, eurotrash.. – well, you got the idea.
Please – no Spielberg, Lucas, Kubrick, etc.

I also buy originals, though I’ve already reached my budget limit for the next two months.

And of course – thank you for your constant attention and help.
